Dear Disciples,

I want to thank you for your continuing commitment to the mission and ministry of Living Lord Lutheran Church. In countless ways, our disciples continue to step up to meet the needs of an ever-evolving world in which our church is planted. 

We continue to receive 2026 commitment cards from our disciples and while it is too early to base our spend plan for next year, we are certainly receiving the cards like this past weekend during our commitment card blessing. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the card and pray about your ways in which you support this wonderful ministry. 

You know, there are many other great causes and organizations to support. My wife and family, have our own charities and non-profits that we support, but there are none other than our faith home that we feel compelled to make a significant gift. For our family, this congregation is the one organization that there is a place for all of us. All our lives are touched by the mission of this congregation, and we want to make sure that we are doing all that we can do to make Living Lord a thriving community of faith.

One day, I hope to get the point in life where I can turn to my wife and say to her, “How much can we afford to keep this year?” Lord willing, we will get that stage in life. But for now, we are confident that the gifts we offer will indeed glorify God and continue to enhance the work and ministry of Living Lord. 

Again, thank you. Thank you for the countless ways that you support our caring ministries. God’s blessings to you and yours.
