September 23, 2019 Daily Devotion

The scripture for today is Psalm 12:6 (KJV).

“The words of the Lord are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”

I have been told God’s perfect number is seven. He created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. Like everyone else, I appreciate technology, but I have always stayed off my computer on Sundays. I need a rest so I can focus. Are there things you can do that would focus you on God’s word? The heat in a furnace to purify silver must be extreme.

What needs to be purified in your life? I know there are many things in my life.

Dear God, Keep me focused on the pure things in which You lead me. In Jesus name e pray. Amen
