The scripture for today is Psalm 84:5.

Great blessings belong to those who depend on you for strength!

Their heart’s desire is to make the trip to your Temple.

We used to take the kids to Six Flags or Silver Dollar City quite a bit. A whole day of rides, fun, memories....and a LOT of walking. It would be late afternoon, we'd be walking to our next ride and our youngest would just sit down, in the middle of the crowd. "I'm very tired." She'd moan. "You need to carry me. I'm little, I can't walk." Then she reaches up with her outstretched arms. And how could we refuse? Darrell would always scoop her up and carry her to the car. Actually, all of us were worn out, but she was the only one who admitted it. It was time to go home.

We are little. Our God is vast beyond imagination. He can and will carry us through any situation. We just have to ask.

Heavenly Father, the trials and temptations of this life has me worn out. Carry me to your house where music of praise and reassurance of your Word will renew me. Amen.
