Today’s Reading is Psalm 96:1-3
Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless His name; tell of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!
In case you need to be reminded today (because sometimes I do), God is on His throne. He is worthy of all praise. He has a glorious future planned for us. We have cause to rejoice and sing, especially in worship for Him.
May I encourage you to take time today to sing a song. It can be old or new or one you have composed yourself (nobody has to hear it but you and God.)
Here are a couple of the ones I will be singing today:
I love you, Lord And I lift my voice To worship you Oh my soul rejoice Take joy, my king In what you hear May it be a sweet sweet sound In your ear Early will I seek Thee
For my soul thirsteth
For my soul, Lord, thirsteth for Thee
I will bless Thee while I live
And lift up, and lift up my hands in Thy name
Early will I seek, early will I seek Thee, O God
O God, Thou art my God
Thou art my God.
Lord God Almighty, in addition to the prayer of my song lifted to You today, I ask that all people everywhere would soon turn to You fully that You will receive the full praise to which You are entitled. Amen.
