The scripture for today is Psalm 15 verse 2, KJV.
"He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart."
Here is an answer to the question that is posed in verse one. "Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?" So, what is the meaning of verse two?
To walk uprightly is to be honest. Nothing of showing pride or "better than others" type of thinking. Also, to be uprightly, is to straightforward and honorable. Sometimes this can be very tough.
To work righteously is to do as God has intended. Speaking the truth is self-explanatory. However, coming from the heart give this fact a new meaning. Not to give acceptable speech but to have knowledge of the truth and speak as so.
Dear Lord, guide me today to work righteously and to speak the truth.
