The scripture for today is Jeremiah 13:4.

"Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon your loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hold of the rock."

As I read this scripture, I continued on through the chapter. When God told him to go and get it out of the hole, it was "marred" on other words not good for anything.

Further on it says, "hear ye and be not proud.., Give glory to the Lord your God.

How often we look at our situation and find we are not prepared? How often are we too proud to ask for help? How often do we fight to give God the glory for our lives?

Dear God, Help me focus on Your glory and cast aside my price and be smart enough to know when to ask for help. In Jesus name we pray.
