The scripture reading for today is Psalm 119:105-112, NIV.

Vs 105: “Your word is a lamp unto me feet and a light unto my path.”

Vs 112: “My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.”

Let's start with 105. It has been used for many today hymns. I love to sing it with KJOY. It makes me feels so much better when I am driving, with all of the crazies on the highway. I know that God has got my back, but it helps to sings His praises as well.

Vs 112 I wish that I was as good with this verse as 105. My heart is with God and Jesus but sometimes I am NOT always keeping His decrees to the very end. If I could just get through one day.

As I drove to work today, a 34-mile trip, I sang songs and prayed. It always puts me on a high plain. Then life comes in, someone cuts me off, or speeds by me like I am standing still.

I am NOT always filled with Christian charity. So, I go back to singing and praying. It lasts for my trip to and from work.

These are Golden words and should be some that we keep in our heart.

Lord, you are so full of Grace and love. You are a Great Father. Keep loving us even when we fail you. We love you but we are just human. Help us hold your words in our hearts. AMEN
