The scripture reading today is Isaiah 30:19, NIV.
“People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.”
What is being said to the people of Zion applies to all of us. As soon as we begin to pray, no matter our situation, He hears us and begins to give us an answer. This means that His help is always available to us. Isaiah 65:24 says, “Before they call, I will answer, while they are speaking I will hear.” He knows our needs and while we are in our prayer, He is producing an answer. We don’t know what His answer will be or when it will be presented to us. But we can be uplifted knowing that there will be one and presented to us when it is right for us.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am so grateful that You are forever present and available to me. Forgive me for my sins and protect me from my mistakes especially when I know I’m making them. Amen.
