The scripture reading for today is Psalm 90:2, KJV

2 "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."

This is one of my favorite Psalms. Moses wrote this as a prayer to God and all He has done. He also calls for repentance of men and they to return to worshiping God. This comes later in this Psalm. Let us take a look at this verse from this most wonderful of Psalms.

God has shown all humanity his greatness in the creation. Paul wrote about this in Romans (chapter 1 verse 20). Moses proves to those who has strayed away from the Lord and their faith that God is real and everlasting. Moses also shows us that God created everything. Almost like giving credence to Genesis and the story of the Creation.

So, what about these days? How can it be that some refuse to accept God and the Creation? How can some claim God does not exist? Many questions through the ages that still continue today. Yet, before anything we can sense, God already created. Foremost, God shows us daily how his creation works and, even with whatever man does to distort the image of God's creation, it still exists. Just take a look around.

Dear Lord, Thank you so much for the beautiful earth you gave us in creation. Help me to always give you credit for its creation and to care for it properly.
