The scripture for today is 1 Samuel 17:37.
David added "The Lord who delivered me from the claws of the Lion and of the bear, will deliver me from the hands of this Philistine"
"Go" said Saul, "and may the Lord be with you."
To be delivered from a powerful foe brings great fear and relief. How did David get in this predicament? Where did he get help? How much power did his army have?
Have you ever received strength from God during great times of pressure? Surely David prayed for relief from the beginning of the battle.
Many times, David has asked God for strength. We can only imagine the strength of his adversaries and the pressure David was under.
I pray
Father bring strength and relief in thinness of great trouble. Bring strength to our soldiers.
