Today's scripture reading is Isaiah 26:1-4.
“On that day this song shall be sung on the land of Juda; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for all walls and bulwarks.
Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee.
Trust ye in the Lord forever: for on the LORD Jehovah is everlasting strength:”
I took these words from my rainbow bible which uses the King James version. So, it's colorful in more than two ways. This has been inspiring to me.
Trusting in God brings warmth and comfort. We often are reminded that peace comes to us from trust.
When the verses call for Jehovah it brings strength and comfort from the long believing in God from this name. Many people call upon Jehovah for peace and comfort. Jesus knows his father and gives us this same peace and comfort.
Peace be to those that pray to Jehovah.
