The scripture for today is 2 Samuel 6:15.
“So, David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.”
Wouldn't it be awesome if we broke into song as we approached the Lord's House? If our shouting and praises could be heard in the parking lot, before we even entered? If the conversation in the car was interrupted by shouting, "Look! There it is! I can see the church!" And we rushed in, not because we were running late, but because we were so excited to offer up our praises!
Oh Lord, my Father, my Savior and my King my heart is filled with gladness to come into your house. I'm so grateful for the time I get to spend just soaking up your words of love and wisdom, meditating on your message, singing your praise and being surrounded by my heavenly family. Thank you for our church, our congregation, our pastors and most of all, Your Word. Amen.
