Music is so important to our worship life here at Living Lord. We believe God speaks to us in different ways through all kinds of music. Our Choir under the direction of Vicki Olson, sings wonderful songs from contemporary to classical. Sometimes we sing with the piano and sometimes with the organ, synthesizer, a variety of percussion instruments, flute, hand bells, etc. We may sing familiar hymns along with others that may soon become favorites.
If you love to sing, why not join the Living Lord Choir? Our rehearsals on Tuesdays from 7:15 -8:30 pm are relaxed and warm. We sing approximately 2-3 Sundays per month, primarily at the 8:30 am service and occasionally at the 11:00 am service. For many of us, the choir is a place of renewal and support. You don’t need to be able to read music or have any experience singing to join us. We guarantee everyone an extravagant welcome in our music ministry.
If the Handbell Choir is more your thing, we rehearse on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 pm. The Handbells play approximately one Sunday a month, usually at both the 8:30 and 11:00 am services. You do not need previous experience playing hand bells but music note reading is required to be in this group and any one of High School age or older is welcomed.
