| Paul
Kruse from First Step Back Home (a local ministry to help homeless
people get back on their feet) has a Survival Food Box program.
In an effort to support the First Step Back Home Ministry, we
are asking small groups and individuals to put together Survival
Food Boxes.
- Listed
below are the items to place in each box.
- We
ask that you not include loaves of bread.
- Please
place your completed boxes in the Gathering Space outside
of the sanctuary (there will be a sign and additional Survival
Food Box lists).
- Everyone
at LLLC is invited to participate.
For
further information visit the
First Step Back Home website
Paul
Kruse recently told us that he could use 20 food boxes a week.
Plus, the ministry is always in need of gas cards and phone
cards..

people need to move elsewhere and dont have their own transportation.
Only

Thank
you so much for doing this. The recipients are so grateful for
them, too... esp. if they're trying to start jobs, don't have
transportation and can't get to the food pantries at the designated
times

BACKPACKS

"Thanks
to you and all your group for helping us with these backpacks.
We generally need more men's than women's. The list isn't exhaustive...
general ideas for you. It's certainly ok to expand on the list.
Used old school backpacks are ok to use if you like. I think I
saw some school packs on sale at Walmart last weekend for ~$5"
